IT’S Asthma Awareness Month, aimed at high-lighting how this sometimes life-threatening chronic respiratory disease can be controlled.
Today, I try out air purifiers, which can help tackle pollution, while our Beauty Editor puts lip oils to the test.
QUIET: The Instant Air Purifier AP100 is so silent, I twice had to check it was actually switched on.
It has air sensors that adjust the fan speed depending on air quality, to purify quickly.

A glassy shine does not have to come with a glossy price.
This gloss-oil hybrid delivers enough sheen while still nourishing the lips with jojoba oil and aloe vera.
The wand makes application mess-free and the squeezy-tube allows you to push out every last drop.
But, the non-sticky formula does require a top-up every two hours. Make space for it in your handbag.
MID: Typology Tinted Lip Oil Shade 1 Ruby Red, (£17.50 for 15ml, uk.typology.com).
I love how hydrated this leaves my lips feeling, while still performing well in the pigment stakes.
The rich red hue stays put like a matte lippy, with a baby brush to reach those hard-to-cover corners.
The cocktail of squalane, jojoba oil and vitamin E also gives it the nourishing and protective qualities of a lip balm – making it an all-round hero.
And it gets a green tick for being sustainably sourced. My favourite.
LUXURY: Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil in 001 Pink, £29.50 for 6ml, boots.com.
There’s no denying that Dior makes a good lippy, but this oil has become a viral sensation.
