Making your own coffee at home is always a good idea when it’s cold outside. You can enjoy a cup in bed without heading outside or at least delay heading out for the day. But if you don’t have a coffee machine, consider the incredibly compact Keurig K-Mini — it’s 50% off right now.

The Keurig K-Mini is just under 5 inches wide, so it doesn’t take up much room on your countertop, and it uses K-cups to brew 6- to 12-ounce cups. However, it’s a single-serve machine, meaning you have to pour water into it each time you want to use it. Some people aren’t into that, but it actually ensures you have a fresh cup every single time. (Fresh water equals a fresher cup, right?)

The size makes it great for small spaces, like dorm rooms or your desk. However, it’s also great for anyone who doesn’t want a huge coffee machine taking up too much room.

More than 55,000 Amazon shoppers give the Keurig K-Mini 5 out of 5 stars, calling it “one of the best” and a “great buy.”

“Love the slimness and the small carbon footprint. I live in a small apartment and it fits beautifully on the counter,” wrote one Amazon reviewer. “So easy to use. Makes a perfect cup of coffee. It comes with quick instructions that are very self-explanatory.”

“There’s really not much to say about this,” wrote another reviewer. “It does what it’s supposed to. Works just fine, doesn’t take up much space, nice and simple, not too expensive and regularly is on sale. Just a very straight forward machine. Put water in, [close] the machine and push brew. That’s it.”

With that in mind, the Keurig K-Mini is 50% off on Amazon in six colors, including black, red, blue, gray, pink and green. The machine first went on sale during the online retailer’s fall Prime Day Sale, but it’s still marked down. There’s no telling just how long this deal will last, though. If you want it, just get it.
