A surprising tip from Jessica, the master behind Mom 4 Real, calls on people to use a common cooking ingredient to make their dashboard look shiny.
Olive oil is undoubtedly a staple food in many kitchens, and now, Mom 4 Real hopes it will become the first choice for car cleaning products.
According to the website, “kneading it into your dashboard will make it look beautiful and help retain moisture in the material.”
According to Mom 4 Real, keeping the dashboard hydrated can prevent it from cracking over time.
This is not the only unconventional item suggested by the cleaning and DIY website to keep your car in good condition.
The website recommends using silicone cupcake linings in the cup holders, so you only need to remove the lining and clean it instead of trying to get into the gaps in the actual cup holders.
The website also stated that “large and fluffy makeup brushes” are ideal for cleaning dust from air-conditioning vents.
If you focus on eliminating odors in your car, Mom 4 Real also has relevant tips.
The website explains that you can use a little water and a squeegee to remove animal hair from upholstery.
"There is a spray bottle with ordinary water.
"Spread mist on the seat where the pet's hair is," it instructed.
"Use a squeegee and apply it to the upholstery.
"It will use it to pull all pet hair."
Another way to refresh the car is to put the laundry fragrance ball in a Mason jar and leave it in the car for easy DIY air freshener.
If you are looking for a multifunctional car cleaner, TikToker has previously shown a foam product priced at $30 that can remove stains inside and outside the car.
